The station

The weather comes from an Ecowitt WH-series array on the Spring Range site — thermometer and hygrometer, tipping-bucket rain gauge, anemometer and wind vane, plus a solar and UV head — reporting on 433 MHz to an HP2561 Pro console in the cabinet.

The console feeds two places. It uploads to Weathercloud every ten minutes, and it also pushes its complete sensor set straight to ikarapi on the site LAN, where a small receiver catches it. This page prefers that local feed: it is a minute old rather than ten, it does not depend on anyone else's servers, and it is the only source that carries the inside readings above. Weathercloud remains the fallback and still supplies the month and year record book.

Nothing here is a forecast. Every number is a measurement taken in the paddock, the same as the rest of the Stats pages.
